Vauxhall 'GO' ones are ok, and reasonable ££.
Although depends what you need? Do you have a sizeable install etc?

Vauxhall ones from a dealer - cheaper than Halfords and there's a good warrenty with them.

Depends on what you want it for.
I have a calcium on off of a 1.7 diesel Cavalier which is about the biggest you can fit in a Corsa tray. I have a big one for my install though.
Any of the Halfords batterys come with a decent warrenty on them and II have had no problems with them.

I get proper Vauxhall batteries, costs me less than £30 IIRC, then again they are trade club prices.

I'm sure I only paid about £25 quid for mine for the Corsa, Halfords wanted twice that.

Just checked The Book, normal Vauxhall one is between £40-£60 + VAT, 'aftermarket' one is from £19.99 to £37.44 + VAT for the Corsa B.
^^ = TC prices.

Its a GO.
I might have got discount for driving a classic. I normally have a conversation with the guy about Vauxhall vehicles of history interest.

That'll be why then.
I bought my mate a Go battery for his 306 GTi-6 a few weeks ago! They seem to be exactly the same as the Vauxhall ones.
