right look out for water seals going due to over heating or high miles, tips can crack due to knock cheap petrol high air intake temps ect, tbh theyt are fairly reliable in standerd form

could happen anytime depend on how the engines been looked after highly modded ones have a shorter life

fires were commen on the older rx7s due to faulty clips on the fuel lines i think this was sorted after 1994

They can last upto a 100K or 10K like any jap supercar. They are cheaper to rebuild than an Evo or Scoob.

They can be expensive to run though, expect 7-15mpg from a lighlty tuned one.

92-93 models had recals for engine fires but as allot where imported they were never done.
