What sort of mileage does everyone get to a tank?

Going from the nova i could get easy 300 - 350 to a tank where as the V6 will do about 200 roughly! Fun driving the V6 tho!

Considering i do about 100 miles a day its a little expensive!

if we say 40 litres to a tank,

I get 300 miles consistently to 40 litres of optimax. thats from a 1.6 16v 180 bhp on throttle bodies.

its a common misconception that throttle bodies will guzzle fuel, if they are set up properly and mapped properly and the car is driven considerately then you should see better mpg than standard.

I don't drive it down to empty, but I'd estimate 300-320 miles from a full tank......that's from a pretty much standard 1.6 16v Sport.

saying that when I fill up it lets me put about 35 litres in, so im getting 200 miles per 35 litres thats regular unleaded.

120 miles, normaly about 140miles using reserve.

only put around 13 litres in at a time though

so thats 2.86 gallons over say 120miles which works out to be: 42miles/gallon

sorry about the workings out couldnt do it all in one go

Edit - Thats for the bike btw no idea about the clio
