What would happen if a car has been crashed and the front arm things (cant think of the name) have been bent. Its an MG TF and the front has caved in on the passenger side and the rear tie rod bar has snapped.
Looking at it i dont think it would be able to be repaired but im not sure on these things.
Cant get any pics at the min but i will upload some.
Thanks

All it is, my girlfriend is worried about being left out of pocket if it gets repaired.
We looked and the price she would get is not near what she paid.

How the fuck did she do that? Yeah the cars are no longer worth their weight, so that is definately a write off.

It was a wet road and as she came round the bend onto the bridge she started spinning and hit the kerb and central barrier twice

i thought if you crash your car when you are tpft you dont get paid out?
or do you mean they will pay out for the damage to the barrier?

She hit the barrier but it only left a few paint marks on it. No damage to the barrier which was quite lucky.

Third party pays for third party costs, just not your own.

No but they will most probably forward a report to the council for any damage to their property....even if minimal damage!!! Wouldnt be the 1st time its happened!!

They will replace the barrier even if she hardly touched it, its not the actual barrier that is at risk but the supports. They'll replace them to ensure they are safe in case of another accident.
