In about 10 months im gunna graduate so im gunna get a loan and get a decent car.

£10k is gunna be my absolute maximum and these are the three main contenders:

Audi S3 225 (Providing £10k will get me a half decent one)
Mk4 Astra GSi (£10k will get me a very good one)
Leon Cupra R 225 (£10k should get me a decent one)

Any other suggestions. I like the idea of the S3 but not sure if £10k will stretch that far.

I dont want anything older than about 4 years so looking at about an 03 plate.

S3

i dont like the astra at all compared to the audi, and i think the leon is ugly.

If im honest i would be happy with any of those 3, perhaps I should save some cash and opt for the astra as it will be cheapest

They are my thoughts too.

Do you think ill be able to get a decent -ish S3 for under £10k in a years time?

Bearing in mind the new S3 will be out then (I think)

Theres loads of S3's for under 10k available just now...so I would say so

but they will be older for £10k, id get the vauxhall or seat if budget is a problem tbh

Well I guess i'll just have to see what my situation is in a years time.

Just got an insurance quote on an S3 - £650 FC - not bad IMO

Yeah you can get them, but mainly pre-facelift high milers.
