why all the hype with this terroist plot etc?
whats the big deal
the ira used to bomb the crap outta us for years
they stopped, and somone else is having a go
but now theres all this hype about it.
and before that the germans were bombing the shit outta us.
what im trying to say is, tanks? outside heathrow? honestly whats the point in that?
they send a bomb in a package or whatever, or theres a bomber in britain and he blows sommit up what the fucking good is the tank gonna do?

We're being told there has been a terrorist attack averted that would have had 'unparalleled destruction' and something 'we have never seen before' yet that isn't the whole story?
I think you need to open your ears to what is being said, Britain just dodged the biggest terrorist attempt ever seen on these shores and something that would have rivalled the human loss of 9/11

Jules S spotted it the same thing as me the other day. at 10am, the BBC had a breaking story on the news, and at 12am, nothing, it had been pulled, no mention of it....
the same is happening today, they arent telling the full story yet.

Its the same as they guys that got raided recently, released with no charge, then done for kiddy porn soon after.
I dont' know if it was just me that missed it but that seemed to be brushed under the carpet pretty quick.
This government is losing the people on all fronts and measures like this are needed on their part.

The tanks are there because of protocol, the highest level of alert was placed on the entire country at the time, i don't know if that is still the case.

The only problem is we will never know what is actually happening.
We could be talking rubbish and the only way to prevent every plane leaving the uk being blown up is not letting any hand luggage on the planes

the tanks wernt there today if im right, they were there afew months ago, maybe they were reacting to some intelligence they received?
why has it been on the news so much? as sxi04 just said this would have been the biggest terrorist attack in britains history, so theres bound to be so much media coverage on it, even if it does bore us after a while
and straight after that the middle east stories have been on... they are bound to take second place in the news when something as major as what could of happened today.

its the media who are changing public opinion. people listen to what they say.
nothing happened today, nothing was going to happen today, but still, we cancel all flights in and out of heathrow for 9 hours, just to big it up a bit.
unless there is more to it, which i think there might just be.
