Arndale is alright, better now its been rebuilt and modernised

parking is the same as any big town/city, busy.

what sort of shops tdo you mean? Designer stuff, or just your general guys stuff?

If its desinger....there is a shop on Deansgate (up near the No.1 Apartments) called Intro which is good. Also further down Deansgate you've got House of Fraser which has an annex bit downstairs full of good guys stuff. Further down Deansgate again (second road on your right after House of Fraser, Bridge Street) there are two good shops. One of which is owned by that big fella Beckham was pictured with just before the WC.

Other than those 4, there is Urban Outfitters just past the main entrance to the Arndale centre. You also got some other guys shops round there but the Arndale centre is mainly full of chavvy cheap shops.

You can park for around a fiver for 4-5 hours at Bridge Street Carpark, its right next to Salford Central train station, and is 4 or 5min walk from all those shops I mentioned just up bridge street.

No all Salford is bad. The central bit is, but the area by the Lowry hotel is really nice now. And the area by Lowry Outlet centee (the shopping centre mentioned) isnt too bad either. But thats way outt he centre and not worth the trip.

Its not really that near. All those buildings round there have been bought up now and is one of the next phases of development (alot has started already with the big Springfields development, 5mil being spent on the Salford Central station and a load of new apartments popping up.)

A580 (think thats it, know the road anyway!)

I live right next door to the Lowry, so know around that bit of Salford really well. Have the benefit of getting letters sent to me from the council of planning applications so get to know whats going to get done round there!
