nova gsi is 8v corsa gsi is 16v i have a corsa gsi and at one point a nova gsi aswell. nova had more grunt but the corsa was quicker

100bhp vs 116bhp

nova weighs as much as an anorexic otter

will take it accelaration but the extra valves willhelp the corsa take it top end i would think..

cant be much between them

corsa gsi had 109 did it not? nova gsi ?? what did it have?

my nova gsi was alot faster accelerating than my mates c16xe powered corsa gsi, i matched him top end close to 120mph

ok these are the figures

Nova GSi/GTE 1.6 8v 16SE - 100bhp / 96lbft
Corsa GSi C16XE 109bhp 110lbft, X16XE 106bhp, 108lbft

Nova is quicker off the line, but the Corsa is quicker in-gear thanks to 16v and twincams

i had a play with my mate nove gsi while in my gf's corsa and i could jst pull him, from the off then as we got faster i was gaining a bit more on him. not much in it tho

people have got to remember that most novas will be 14 years + and wont be making even nearly what they came out the factory with

i wasnt making a comparison, i was pointing out to those saying nova gsis have x amount of BHP, which they wont
