Ok so coming home from work just now and was letting my frustration out on the car, giving it a good seeing too

Suddenly couldnt feel any power, car slowed right down then wouldnt start again sounds strange wen i try and start it again! Oil light is constantly on, could it be that there is no oil? possibly dry?

Any ideas? anyone awake? lol

If its been starved of oil you could be in serious trouble mate. I ain't no expert but that could cause head gasket failure I think.

Yes mate but not my 1.2, i have a 1.8 16v nowadays.

Head gasket was replaced about a month ago, oile light had only just came on so not starved.

oil light will be on until the engine is running.

then check for spark, if its not spark check for fuel (pump might have gone)

Deffo a bit of petrol in it, checked oil, it is low, so its a possibilty. i really hope it is!

could it be a case of just putting some oil in? engine made a strange noise wen tryin to start it up

low oil wont stop it from starting.

i have a 1.8 16v in the garage if you want a good deal on it, engine box and ecu
