As my next car is going to be a bit more normal im thinking of either of these cars..

Problem is, i really really like both of them.

1.9DTI Bora
2.0 6-Speed Lexus

Both are around the same money (for low mileage jobbies) and both are big enough for me, unlike my poxy Corsa which i am getting more and more bored with....

Which one to get tho !!!!!!

Bora.

Lexus is too gimmicky, with its "watch face" speedo and stuff, IMO

My mates bora 130 bhp TD leaves my 172 for dead on the motorway and my mates 306 gti 6 as well unbelivable in 6th gear sooooo much torque. Not sure about is 200 but by boss used to have one and my corsa 1.6 did it off the lights (he wasnt too pleased), although thats not really what there built for.

Compared to a diesel Bora, the Lexus will be absolutely terrible on fuel.

Bora TDi with 18" Audi wheels.

Dont think the Lexus IS200 is that fast. Very nice inside though

yeah these are just 2 cars that i like and are around the same price/size

have heard bad things about the 1.8 Turbo engine (mattb) so the 1.9 DTi is best for them...

yeah right

Looks wise I would have a standard Lexus over a standard Bora.

But if you were going to mod then I'd go for the Bora. Lexus' look too pimp/gangsta cars when modded
