Have you seen any in particular?
What age you looking at?
There are lots of tidy xamples out there, but look hard as there are LOTS of ropey ones.
Are you after a redtop or an ecotec engined one?
Main things to look for are:
Wishbones, rust on the earlier cars (pre 1995) drivers seat wear, rust on drivers/passengers sill.
errrrr, steeering racks are dodgy on turbo's, no idea if they are on 16v's or not.
Best bet is to get on here:
www.clubcalibra.net and look at buyers guide and ask for some help

95% of them have become chavlibras, be prepared to put some time in to get a good one.

There are alot of R-reg ecotecs (slightly less power than redtop) that are unmolested.
Avoid the SE calibra's as they are worth more for no reason other than fancy colout or wheels.
They can be had for pennies these days so look hard and dont pay too much for one as there are plenty of them around if you look hard enough.
As Seth said lots of them have become chavalibra's and are covered in fibreglass tat and lexarse lights so try and find a nice std example

Sadly this is true.
Calibra's were also a few years ago the number 1 clocked car in the UK, duno about now but they're probably all still about
BTW, insuring one at 18 (assuming you were born in 1987) will be quite hard mate
