You've probably fucked your engine even more by doing that.

Once i managed to get the coolant to run around the whole system it just fooking chucked it out the back.

It was also coming out the exhaust manifold where there was a tiny crack!

Time to strip it down methinks!

Me and Rob spent the best part of last thursday and sunday putting water through it and bleeding the coolant pipes to clear the air locks, it was very inconsistant and didnt seem to be doing the job. Last night Rob brought some coolant and we put it through it, only when we properly bled each point with the coolant and pressurised the coolant system did water enter the rocker, you could see it seeping through a crack in my exhaust manifold and smell it being burnt in the exhaust, finally the mayo present in the rocker said it all.

I have to say I am tempted by the 16v option, just doesnt seem right though in a rallye.

Has to be restricted to 1400cc for endurance rallying, which is why rallyes are so popular.
