Ive been searching around for jobs when I thought, hmmmmmm, i wonder what it would be like to work at a Car Place (Vauxhall, Peugeot, etc) as a saleperson!!
Was just wondering if someone could point me the right way and explain the pros and cons of this!??
Also whats the average annual salary for this kinda job, and what kinda qualifications are needed, if any!??
Cheers

I work for a VW dealer as a technician/mechanic and i chat to a salesman on a regular basis, he says the basic pay is terible (12k per year) you have to make sales to get good money and to keep your job. He didnt do any qualifications but he started in a car supermarket place before geeting the job in the dealer so he had some experience to his name.
So basically Pro: Well paid if you make lots of sales(which may or may not include bending the truth slightly)
Con: Poor paid and potential for getting fired if you dont make sales and meet targets

Quite strict from what i hear depending on the time of year, Like now is main holiday season so they will be relaxed a little but come spring/autumn they get stricter
