If he was standing in the central reservation of a motorway taking pics of oncoming cars with flash I could understand it, but that seems pretty pedantic tbh.

Probably think that by deterring photographers, people won't turn up to cruises and their workload will decrease.

i can't see why they shouldn't be allowed to record it. by law the police (in England at least) have to make a record of everyone they talk to and should offer you a copy of the record. i didnt think this was true, but my dad (a policeman of 30 years) confirms it

I cant hear the recordings, but If its Gordon, he has an obsession with having police converstaions and recording them. Highly Ironic from a man who spent the last year in jail because of Motoring Offences.

Listening to the 2nd clip he was taking pictures at night qwith a flash of oncoming cars
