Brilliant cars, if a little dificult to get in and out of!!!

If you don't need a car for space then definatley consider one!

If you can live with not having much space and all that then go for it I'd say.

Dont they use the Rover engine that has a tendancy to blow headgaskets at an alarming rate?

What I heard, not saying I am right before anyone starts having a go

Try having a poke around seloc.org.uk

They now have an acronym for the head gasket problems

HGF=head gasket failure

Yep, used to have one. Cracking car IMO.

The engine never gave me any trouble. For six months it had no water pump and a fooked radiator.

Never gave me a problem enginewise.

TBH i have had more problems with my vauxhall engine

And i'd take mine over both

Servo assisted brakes, ABS, cheaper insurance, cheaper servicing, miles more torque...etc etc etc

Only thing that could possibly seen as bad on it is the badge (in most Lotus owners eyes)
