They're testing the 200bhp 2.0 turbo and they said it reaches 0-60 in 9.5sec! That is seriously bad!

Can't be right surely?!

vauxhall website says 8.3 secs and it weights 1530kg.
5dr sri hatch does it in 7.7secs and weights 1323kg which shows the weight difference

Depends if they tested it themselves and can't drive. Its not as quick as the hatch being seriously heavy. Metal roof was a bad move IMO. I went to look at one to swap mine, mechanism is far too complicated and would certainly break many times, and there's absolutely no boot space whatsoever.

My ass.

Mine squeaks and rattles now, and the door jams in the very hot weather, and the new one has well more moving parts. The bootlid wobbles from side to side when its open due to the silly double sided hinge arrangement. Very daft indeed.

Shame as that shape is growing on me, and they do it with factory big wheels and nav, with the 200bhp engine which would chip to 230 ish. Just has a bloody daft stupid marketing exercise roof.

They also said you could operate the roof whilst doing speeds up to 30kph. God knows why you would want to do this! And yeah, it was wobbling!

So you can start it going while you're coming to a stop at lights or finish the job after the lights have changed. Mine takes 30 seconds and some lights are less than that! More useful for putting it up when it starts to rain.

i took pics of all the CC boot spaces at the motor show

astra want the worst, the new volvo was. when the roof is down in the boot there is a space the size of a letter box to slot things into. you have to open the boot up fully, then press a button inside the boot which half lists the roof up, then provides access to the storage space underneath.

a few people nearly had their fingers trapped when using it as the button is right next to the roof store

astra was bad tho as it has a pull out blind that tells you if your load will hit the roof or not - looked very tacky

best boot space was the micra cc lol!
