Was really interested in going to Uni in September/August and studying midwifery as its something that I have always wanted to do. I emailed Chester University about my application and they said the only way I could apply is with the NMAS on the 1st of September, Although i am going onto their website now and they have said that the last of their admissions was on the 30th June.....
So am really not pleased, does anyone else think that it's early September that you apply for Uni, as i still have not got my results back from my A-Levels now..

You can go through UCAS via their late admission thingy, almost certain that around that date. If not just ring up the Uni on Sept 1st and see what they say then.

Yeah, you can just do it on your own, no need for a college.

Not many people know but if you go into the forces you can sometimes end up doing the career you wanted and getting the qualifications earlier. Maybe you could have a look into that too. They will do nursing and midwifery most probably.

ment to have apps in before end of july. Thats why you get conditionals on the basis of your results when you get them. you might get in through clearance tho.
I would phone admissions at the uni and explain. see what they say

UCAS do a late entry thing though, totally different to the standard UCAS entry that most people do when at college.

whole idea of going to uni is to move away from home, go somewhere new for a change, makes loads of new friends and have a laugh.
You dont have to stay in your home town just because of a boyfriend or similar. One of my mates did this, they split up anyway she was so gutted she didnt go to uni in london where she wanted.

If I wanted to go to Uni I think I would be the same. I'm family orientated so I hate being away from home. Wouldn't enjoy travelling either.
