Well i came back from my lunch in town, to find a note on my window of my car, saying sorry hit your car when parking, if any damage please ring. so looked round my car and the drivers wing and door have been dented and scrapped

So went to see this lady who hit my car to sort insurance out.But fair play to her for putting her number for me to ring.

Its just got to go the long wait with insurance now, which is annoying.

Anyway i just hope she says its her fault as i have an excess of £600 if she doesnt say it was her fault

will get pics up tonight!

You will probably have to pay your excess to get it sorted then have a long drawn out process to refund it back.

Thats what I had to do a year ago and still haven't had it refunded yet Fucking Elephant

Hope this doesnt happen at all!!

She did say how much do i think it will cost. i just said it will need new wing and door. so prob over 500 with spraying. so she sair go through insurance.

If she does argue it, and my insurance say i have to pay it, can i just say that i will fix it my self? as im sure i could get it done cheaper than my excess!!

Well that is what I said when a woman came out from a side street into a main road and I hit her. It was surely her fault but since we were in the same insurance .. they are still deciding after 4 months!!

Not sure mate? once the cogs start turning and all.

My claim was for a sheet of glass falling on my car when I was no where near it and had to claim from my insurance so still out of pocket even though they have said they are liable.

Just the 2 insurance companys messing about and has affected my no claims till it's sorted.

does it really need a new wing and door, how about getting a quote and then offer it to her and see what she says and may not go thorugh insurance which would be alot quicker and easier!
