Emm....well im kinda fooked. Im not long back from florida, i took my phone over with me not realising how much calls and texting cost and the bill has come back as £1k. there's no way in hell am i paying that. Have any of you guys encountered high bill problems abroad and how did u deal with it?
I no its a stupid amount but everyone makes mistakes. No stupid comments.

Pay it off bit by bit thats what i did. Paid like £20 a week. My bill was only £500 only

I'd suggest ringing up the network and explaining to them you didn;t realise that the calls were so expensive, you're willing to pay but unfortunalty don't have that sort of money avaliable at present and can they work out some kind of plan to pay it off piece by piece.
Just be honest with them and see what they say

One of my mates didnt pay a similar bill, they threatened to take him to court so he payed it in the end

yeah i'll do that. Its just annoying because near the end of the holiday i got a text through saying your bill is £130. I rang them up and they said i dhould of got that text every 2 days, i only got one in the whole 2 weeks i was away.

They will pass it onto collectors if you don't pay, so the suggestions to ring up are valid and definately the best next move.
