Test drove one today, and absolutely loved the balls of it, didnt rag it tomuch but give it a bit of stick and was very impressed with the torque

Its the fourth one down on here
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=SEAT&model=LEON&min_pr=5000&max_pr=9000&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=wn36tg&miles=40&max_records=50&source=0&photo=1&sort=5&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH

Very very tempted to buy it.

Fourth one down? That's the normal 1.9 diesel.

If you're going for the diesel, get the 1.9 FR if you can stretch to it, basically looks like a Cupra but has the 150 VAG diesel engine in it, although various people have had them RR'd and they come out with more like 170bhp

Ok, so obviously the link must keep changing haha, its the Yellow Cupra with all the decent bumpers on and nice wheels etc thats done 44k and is £8695.

If i was to remap this car would it be the same performance as the Cupra R - 225bhp model?

but cupra-r has a diff turbo, 2 intercollers rather than one, better brakes. nicer bodywork and wheels, with the money u want to spend on 18s and remap, just save for the cupra r

No, as I believe the extra power comes from a bigger turbo aswell as a new ECU setup. Can't you stretch to the 225 Cupra? Well worth it!

they aren't THAT much more and IMO worth spending the extra

Look on that list in your first post mate, what about the red one, second one down? High mileage but only 3 years old, lovely colour and 225

my car has 230bhp with smaller turbo ko3s so you get a k04 turbo with a cupra r and 225 tts
but a mapped cupra r is 265 bhp
