Turn off all the lights inside.

Basically the air conditioning system in the building is dead, they don't wanna pay £86k to get a brand new system installed, so have hired some portable 21k BTU units which apparently cost £6k/month in total to hire, but do very little to cool the building down.

This was the latest idea of cooling the building down...

i wear shorts and have several fans, still too hot

i also bought a load of mini-milks and calippo as we got a freezer at work

Your work seems to suck bud!

Can you not complain of headaches etc? Say its due to eye strain, and then complain of migraines saying its brought on by the heat?

Take some roof panels out mate... the heat will rise and stay in the roof... if the tiles are all in then it'll stay in the room

thats like my office, i have a break every 1hr to go out and cool off

think all the computers kick out heat, we got a really low ceiling too, and above a woodwork shop

Sounds like a cack place of work, especially with the idea of having some korean kid in a box blowing air for 6k a month

Can't the current system be fixed instead of replaced?
