I was playin golf and before any rain started lightning struck about15-20yards in front, its fookin well scary

a 50metre tall tree got struck outside our old place, and blew its innards all over the house. never heard such a loud explosion in my life

I was once sat in my bedroom just about to plug my ariel into the wall socket.

Then, BOOM, CRACK!

The house ariel got hit by lightning. Lucky escape. Blew about 15 tiles off the roof.

I love storms.

Was once sat in Switzerland in the alps. Me and my Dad on his goldwing sat in a cafe watching storms.

The storm was in the valley below us. Fookin amazing to watch.

if the lightening is earthed you probably wont even notice apart from the flash.

didnt you see top gear do that test with a golf acting as a farad cage when they hit it with the quivalent of a lightening strike

I was in the centre MK anbout half an hour ago, insane storm, it really was, all of the inside flooded because the drains couldn't cope!! Never seen anything like it! was like a film! had to give the mrs a piggy-back for ages so her shoes didn't get ruined!
