I'm sure people don't read when they are buying things from ebay!!

People sell neons on ebay for about £8 that they get from ebuyer for about £4. So i thought a good idea was to sell the information to the website on ebay for 50p where they can get them cheap instead of what they pay on ebay. I thought it would be anice easy way to earn afew pennies aswell...

I am doing nothing wrong aslong as i state it is only a link to some information that people are buying and i also must list it under information services in ebay which i have.

Anyway this is one of my auctions for them:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9533004282&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

Now please clear this up for me... when reading that do people agree that its quite clear that people are only paying for the information and not a full set of neons for 50p?

I made sure i wrote this at the start of the description and put it in bold...

Don't stop it mate... they can't give you negative feedback becasue the ad is in the right place, you are clear on wat you are selling... it's easy money, just ride with it.

Will keep it going for abit and see how it goes... people annoy me when they don't read things...

heres the first persons message to me after he bought from the auction:

message 1:
do i have to gon on that link you gave me to get my neons

message 2:
i htought it was 50p to buy the neons not just to buy a shitty link what is the ppoint in that, im goint to leave bad feed back having me bid on faulse pretences

by this time i pretty much wrote an essay to him telling him how thick he was and quoting half of my auction to him...

message 3:
i know but under section 39 Criniaml act! did you know it is illigle to sell a link t oa website

RETARD again i told him he was wrong

message 4:
how much are the neons then now i have got the link?

WELL FIRSTLY MY FRIEND I GO THROUGH THIS IN THE AUCTION DESCRIPTION AND IT TELLS YOU ON THE BLOODY WEBSITE!!

now i have this other eejit going off on one

I didn't bother looking at the auction, too much effort to read a few lines of text I reckon, so if I post you a nice shiney 50p piece can you send me some cathodes please? Will put them in my PC to look pretty (doesn't matter about the extra heat it'll cause because it'll look leet and that's the main thing)

Deal? cool, 50p is in the post.

Seriously, it's obvious once you start reading the description what it is you are selling (a link rather than the actual product themselves) and if people are just hitting the Buy It Now button without reading exactly what it is they are buying then that is their own fault.

so far i have sold about 8 or 10... i was expecting to sell more but people would rather pay £8 or so any buy them from ebay lol... plus paypal takes a nice chunk out of it 23p or something... so if i carried on i would have to make it 70p... it is nice and easy though all i have to do is send a link lol

maybe this:
quote:

I will also try and keep the auction nice and short so I don’t bore you all to death!

you did NOT...

quote:

*Please note the delivery service selected for this price is “super saver” which aims to have your product(s) delivered to you within 8 working days. There are other delivery services available on the website and the price will vary if you choose a different one.

you need not put that imo esp bigger than the other texts
quote:

I can not always guarantee that the colour you may be after will be in stock, but if you would like to know please send me a message and i will let you know if they are in stock or not.

do understand: this doesn;t work in legal contracts...

quote:

If that is not a HUGE saving then I don’t know what is!

rectify these and you will be safer than ever
