I've just got in from a 2 hour drive, and am now off out again for another hour in the car.
Wearing a shirt, tie and trousers in this heat in a Pug 106 with no air con is like sitting in a sauna
I wanna Golf GT TDI

Why would your back stick to the seat . When i was in Arizona last June me and my mate over there went everywhere with just the windows open, and it was 41-44C every single day and my back didnt stick to the seat .

thats stupidest thing iv heard opening a window does make a difference, especially if youre doing 70 down the M1. or does the air around the car at that speed just stand perfectly still?
if you arent moving then you make the most of getting a tan
and as for hayfever, windows open or not it'l still effect you, car isnt air tight

Lynny. My car has a pollen filter. if the window is shut, and the blowers are on, my hayfever is non existant
with the window open, its really bad
and even at 70mph, aircon does a better job of cooling the car.

pollen filter isnt 100%
since i got my car used the aircon once, prefer to just have window down. everyone spends 8 month of the year complaining about crap british weather and how cold it is, when its warm im going to make most of it!
