I don't post things very often. In fact, I have sent 2 parcels and 1 letter this year. The last time I sent a parcel the guy at the Post Office automatically did it as recorded delivery, though when I sent my HDD's back to ebuyer on Monday they only took them as First Class postage. I only realised this when I left the Post Office and I didn't have a recipt or anything. I feel like an amature now as some postman has probably stolen my completely bugger fucked HDD's which are being replaced under warrenty.

first rule always send em back recorded!
hopefully they will be ok... but scum like to rummage around with things like that if they thought there was any value to em...

Yea, I need to have a bit more practice at this postage thing. It's a pain in the balls. I made the same mistake once before and had a parcel get lost (i.e. some pikey worker nicked my stuff)

If its something you dont give a toss about and isn't that important or can be sent again just send it first class... where as your hdd's and valuables always send recorded. you get insuarnce aswell then upto £32 i think it is and you can always add more.
Thing is all the pricing is changing again soon... at the moment you only get charged on the weight of something, now its going to be weight and size!! bloody complicated country!
If you are ever unsure let the post office know the value of it and they will give you some options.
