It's just a big block outer CV. Just go in and ask for a CV from a Cavalier GSi 2000. You can say that the reg number is G21TGS if you need one to make in easier...

I suppose you could slip the boot off, pack full of new grease and then it that helps but Id sooner replace it before it lets go (perferably with a new one)

If it clicks, replace it. They are only £20 odd and a boot kit will be less than a tenner. Very messy, but if it breaks you are stranded. Putting new grease in it won't help much if it is broken.
