Should be cheaper coz its newer, insurance is all done on %s and i doubt many new Lupos have been in accidents, also they are better for the enviroment so the goverment have made the insurance cheaper to get people to buy more enviro friendly cars.

managed to get it down to £433. still not cheap as I expected, my 1.8 16v corsa c is a 2005, worth more, faster and has the sri badge and the lupo is still more than that!!!!

Some insurers give you a good deal on a second car but not when your first is a heavily modified one (not with the likes of direct line etc) should be able to get it cheaper if you shop around a bit?

also Dave, spending 5k on a car, you could put that towards insurance/petrol for the Corsa, and it would go a hell of a long way.
false economy when you think about it....

but then I would have another car and the corsa can be just for fun.
need a car for work and im planning on a few trackdays a month. if I break it on the track (which im 100% likely to do) then I wouldnt be able to get to work as the missus uses the Sri to get back and forth to pick our daughter up from school and to get to uni.
jr.... are you joking? you must be. a 3 cylinder diesel cant be that quick
