The corsa is now a bit of a pain for everyday use (80 mile round motorway trip) and dont fancy having to use it during the winter. It will be used for track use from now on.

so, Ive got up to 5K for a runabaout. want something diesel, reliable, smallish and modern. Im thinking Lupo tdi.

Dave lupo TDI, mine was the best car ive owned

fantastic as standard, amazing for what they are remapped

mine had 196 lb'ft of torque when i sold it

Whats standard BHP and torque compared to remapped? Also MPG?

Are they 3 cylinder engines?

75bhp - 150 lb'ft

85bhp 196 lb'ft

yep there 3 cyclinders

MPG high 40's to 50's ???

They are really nippy cars for what the are 1.4TDi 3cyl 75bhp iirc

they are very light, and very nippy. my mate has an Arosa S Tdi, and its a lot quicker than my car. does about 3 times the mpg of mine too
