I cant stand their arrogance.

They seem to be more interested in having "cool" haircuts than making quality music.

Mind you thats all it takes for you to be a hit with the NME these days.

Just listen to the stones instead....Razorlight are ripping them off so you may as well listen to the original.

Not feeling it at all at the moment, only had one listen. Really loved there last album but for this album its like they forgot to take their guitars or something?!

The flaming lips album is good.

No-- everyone is influenced by other bands... thats fine. It is not fine that their music is bland, completely uninspiring... Lyrics are laughable.

I dont listen to any of their songs and think.. wow that guitarist is good, or wow that drummer is good.... musically mcfly are a better band than razorshite.

I have seen them live several times and i like girl with the golden touch and somewhere else... seems like they have just got really lazy now.

They wont be around for long after this album anyway

Then dont listen to new music.. There is plenty of good music to keep you going from the last 50 years rather than lowering yourself to listen to razerlight,
Maybe nothing you listen to is unoriginal... Look harder.

THATS BETTER

Incredible really.. Holly was a one of in his day.. master of the 2 minute pop/rock song. Fifty years later and razorlight still cant do it better than him.

I:

Musically Mcfly are better than nearly all the indie bands out there atm.

If you listen to any of their songs the guitar riffs and fill ins are much more complicated than the indie bands.

The crap that coming out atm is shocking.

I'm not impressed by the Razorlight album either.

I've just listened to the new snow patrol album and it's so much like the first album!

You're missing the point I'm making

absolutely every new band these days just rips off other people

that doesnt mean to say i dont listen to music which is original

and tbh, you telling me that i'm "lowering myself" to listen to razorlight is a pointless comment, its up to me who i listen to

america and kirbys house are great songs. at least there a real fukin talent, not like lilly allen who most people on here love, when she has an ok voice and only is where she is today thanks to radio1 and her drug taking publicity

Why make sweeping statements like "absolutely every new band these days just rips off other people". I have put forward why I think razorshite are rubbish... you havnt told me why im wrong..

I will name you some new original musicians if you like?

Why are you getting so angry.. you can listen to what you want.. I just dont see the point in listening to a razorlight album when there is much better music to be buying.

Razorlight dont even make albums... they are just the three singles and a load of weak tracks inbetween... there is no structure to their albums.... look at radiohead, pink floyd pixies ect if you want to see how to put a good album together

i added the razorlight album to my collection because i already have every radiohead, floyd and pixies album.

buying is the key word. if that was the case, i wouldnt have bothered.

lol. its a matter of taste. i think pink floyd were dreadful at live 8, and people said how good they are, radiohead have had 5 or 6 good songs in the past decade. im sorry, but nobody makes an album full of hits, except maybe the verve.

Razorlight are the same as all those other NME bands... Hyped to the max in order to save the record, music magazine industry which is dying on its ass(at last) due to the internet. Razorlight were just last years money spinner. The year before that it was The Darkness. These bands are hyped to the max... then they are dropped from a great height.

Good music will always outlast a good image

Their last album was no where near as good as when they were ripping off the clash/the pogues. The pogues are a far better punk band imo

I do like lots of green day songs though especially off dookie
