heres my pics of it from the motor show:

The engine in the 1.4: (same as the twinport one in the C i think? )

My Verdict:
Not bad looking in a decent colour with the optional 17s, interior doesn't look 2 bad altho it doesn't feel any bigger inside than the C which is suprising seeming as its a much bigger car. The rear of the interior is bad imo - vision out the back window is very poor and there is hardly any head/leg room in the back if ur over 4 foot tall. Engines looked the same as the ones in the C so will be very sluggish due to the extra weight (think its 2 secs added on each for the 0-60 times! )

I like the interior and the rear end. Its the front that lets it down. The headlights are too big!

I liked it but one thing put me off.
The driving position, the steering wheel was very far from the dials, and the dials/dash was about 1ft from the windscreen, i think visability will be a problem as you geta very withdrawn feeling from the road! Plus id say it will be hard to judge the length of the nose as you cant see it. Very bad for the women going to be attempting to park it in tesco's.
The boot had an awesome hideaway compartment, it seemed big too. The interior was such good quality and so much more attractive than the corsa c.
Think they have done a good job, VXR should be cool

I note they have gone back to the Nova days with the side windows, having a smaller window in the corner, how ace

Not really liking that, although it's the same with the new CTR. I don't like the standard Civic but fucking love the CTR! I'm hoping VX make the new VXR something special

yes it looks a nice car, but as a CAR, not in line with even the modern Giffen badged looks.
i can see a Ford nose in it, then from another angle Renault/Peugeot, very French looking, and the rear looks a bit Japanese, Kia? Nissan Micra?
i don't like it as a Corsa, and i'm sure if it had a different badge on it i would like it more.....final decisions to be made when we hear how it drives

The interior is horrid, and the engines will struggle to pull the extra weight. The 1.0 12v will be laughable.
Only one to have would be the 1.7 CDti or the VXR but they'll cost around 13-16k.

i would go as far as saying that the designer/s must have been on drugs, its horrid, waste of time and money,
the headlights are to big the rear lights look like 106's at an angle, the little bit of window is stupid, and the interior looks gash

It all looks the same as the Punto. That is a fantastic little car to drive around. Everything is adjustable, takes a little time to get it right and you have to get used to the fact that you are quite far back, but all new cars are like that because the engine has to be set quite far back for the new pedestrian laws...
