As title really, I just wondered how much manners cost as I am tempted to set up a fund for some people so we could all chip in and buy them some?

People put up wanted threads, you PM them and get no reply. Is it so hard to reply and say 'already got some', 'my circumstances have changed', 'not exactly what I was after' etc?

I must say that over the last few months I have PM'd about 30 or 40 people about wanted parts and only about 30% of the people you PM have the common courtesy to reply to them.

It's a fucking nightmare tyring to manage a PM box of 50 when you have sold things so you can leave it free for replies, no doubt I have possibly deleted a message by accident myself in that time but come on? Not 70% of them.

Oh and don't get me started on people that do have the courtesy to reply to them, then make arrangements to meet at PV as they live in Northampton but do not have the common courtesy to answer their phone or turn up when there? Gotta love timewasters, eh?

I really love carting 6 wheels and a tailgate all the way from Manchester and then all the way back again.

It only seems to be this site that I have this problem, am I alone on this? Far better to sell on Mig, less ignorance!

Simple really, people on here are young (mostly) whereas on Mig they are mostly older

I absolutely fucking hate it when people ignore/don't reply to u2u's. I have had numerous legitimate u2u's ignored recently. Sort it out for fuck sake.

No, not you fella.

Don't feel the need to hang him out to dry, although he already had been PM'd my mobile number and hadn't replied via PM once I returned home. I could understand then as my phone was cut off a bit back when a lad off here wanted my speedlines but I couldn't let them go before I had my 17's sorted...still looking though but going to sit it on the standard rims with no discs on now I think?

Thats understandable, but I do not type like a mongaloid. Hate text talk and chavvy cock knockers. I would either ignore it or send them an abundance of abuse!

There are some genuine people out there but unfortunately this site has an abundance of people who are intent on wasting peoples time or just simply don't think?

I had someone asking if I would meet half way for a 10 pound item, it would have cost me over 30 quid in petrol and I only wanted 2 quid to post it!?!

The amount of people that say they will take something, ask for your paypal account then become mute is rediculous.

I appreciate that you will get the odd one on each site but I have never had any problems with people on Mig, this site however has a really disproportionate amount of time wasters!

The people on Mig are genuine car enthusiasts though, there are more 25 year old+ members on there than there is on here.... therefore have had a lot of life experience and can just be straight with people.
