i av an 800 watt amp powerin an 800 watt sub..n ive jus baught a new sub...same as my other to sit at the side of it...ive wired it to the other sub it works fine for a minute or so then both subs go off..i tried wiring the new sub to the 2 other channels but this didnt work...will it work with another set of phono leads from head unit to the amp ? coz the phono leads in now r goin into the amp say channel 1+2 in...n theres another set wich say 3+4 in shud i av phono leads goin to these ? and will it solve my problem ?

it shouldn't make a difference but i'm guess u have checked all the connections coz i don't no how to fix it soz mate

get a 2 into 4 phono adapter from halfrauds or the like bout £15 but im not overly sure this is ur problem,1 idea is 2 open it really carefully and if it doesnt work bring it back and say it was the wrong thing,just a money saving idea,if u dont damage it ur not really doing them out of anything

im assuming you have a 4 channel amp?
why do the "other two" channels not work?
have you got its input mode set correctly
