i started to fit my alarm tonight and was supplied everything.
it has remote engine start, so i thought i would give that ago first so connected everything up and found out the relay it comes with normaly closed contacts. so when i connected the battery the car tried to start straight away. is there away that i can sort this or would i just be better buying a new relay with normaly open contact
the pin conections were
feed in- connected to signal wire from alarm box
ground- taken from battery for security reasons
incmoing side of switch- connected to feed on ignition barrel (red)
outgoing side of switch- connected to red and black cable on ignition barrel
any ideas it may seem confussing without the diagrams and box in front off you.
if it will help anyone i can list the connections on the alarm pannel from top to bottom and i will tell you where i am connecting them to.
