cams wouldnt make a difference to the fuelling, so it would cost the same to run (or thereabouts)

my car has no engine now.... but when i first got it, it was a 1.4

with a Lexmaul inlet, 4 branch manifold, decat and full system, it made 105bhp

with a remap on top of that, it made 116bhp

my next mod with that spec would be to buy a c16xe and rebuild it. fit the mods to that and get 125+ bhp. cams and a chip will set you back £700+

an old c16xe will cost £200ish and take your time to rebuild it.

cams are pointless without a remap in my opinion.

My old 1.4 ran like a bag shit without a remap.
