Can you still get the old xbox chipped and is it worth it?

Is there anywhere that does the games?

It's easy peasy to do yourself.
I done a few back in the day but you don't even need to solder anything now.

Xecuter was the best when I done it but that could have changed now.

personally id rather sink my money into a 360.

theres no point in chipping it tbh cos you can get all the decent games dirt cheap now.

when you chip a console you can get loads of games for next to nothing but you will end up being spoilt for choice and never playing 99% of them

this is what happened with my ps2. i got about 130 games and ive only ever played about 10 of them lol

you dont need to actually physically alter anything now, can all be done by software, tis called softmodding it all you need is an action replay and the origional splinter sell game, thats it.

just load software onto memery card from action replay and its chipped, can then play divx, copy games to harddrive, copied games ect.

games can be downloaded and then burned onto a dvd by your self really easy.

well worth it imo, even if its just for the huge ammounts of emulators avalible.

Get one off ebay, saves the hassle doing it yourself - though only reason i would get one chipped is to run that media player software (stream films/music/photos from a central server etc) as well as to play cheap/downloaded games
