MG ZR 105 - 102bhp 0-60 10.15sec 0-100mph 33.45sec 60-100mph 23.30sec 18.65sec @ 74.66mph

Fiesta 1.6 Zetec - 102bhp 0-60 9.79sec 0-100mph 31.67sec 60-100mph 21.88sec 18.29 @ 75.99sec

Lupo GTi - 125bhp 0-60 8.16sec 0-100mph 23.80sec 60-100mph 15.64sec 16.63sec @ 83.60mph

Astra SXi 1.6 - 100bhp

Corsa SRi - 125bhp 0-60 9.11sec 0-100mph 27.91sec 60-100mph 18.80sec 17.59sec @ 79.38mph

Take these figures with a pinch of salt, but it gives you an idea.

still slow for a 1.8 hatchback. theoretically should be alot faster. Example my car is older and is only a 1.6 but will beat a 0-60 time of 8 secs

its 102 bhp
which is more than the 1.6 astra sxi and the same as the 1.6 zetec s
so its not bad rlly

Yeah group 8 is high.

Lupo 1.4 16v sport is grp 6 and 100 ps

Arosa 1.4 16v sport (same engine) is grp 5.

thats what i was thinking rob

just get your car when race your mates (private test track of course) and then see which is really the fastest. itl depend on the driver alot seeing as theyre all similar speeds

Think you are going to struggle as the fiesta weighs less than a ton and the MG weighs around 1100kg, and both have the same power...

Hate him with a passion Mr Sport? and it does seem to be high insurance for a 1.4 I'd have went with a newer style vtr tbh. I don't think you'll stand much of a chance against any of them except the Zetec S mate.
