i wanna get myself a cheap car that has a half decent engine in it to just strip out and put in some bucket seats and hoon around in. been thinkin about a pug 205 gti. any other suggestions.

maybe a 309 cos that would be cheaper than a 205 but be about as fast. already had an xr poo. was good fun.

309 handles better than the 205, if you get a 3 door one.

I've been in a stripped Golf GTi 8v. Had Spax suspension and rollcage. Went pretty well.

Jon, look on ebay, about half of the 205s on there are stripped and caged

or look in AKs garage

Mk1 golf is good, mk2 is too flabby... anything newer than that.... dont even bother

205 gti...

Seriously

I have spend 1500 on a 205 and 20,000+ on a corsa.... the 205 is a better, more reliable car
