as part of the mot do they test to see if your hazard warning switch works?

woohoo fixed... it had blown a fuse. tested it with a different one so now i've got hazards and no main left beam

quick trip to halfords tomorrow will fix it

if you end up with a tester like i did, they wont test anything like that at all i sat in the car and did all the steering checks, etc etc, as he didnt want an apprentice doing it in case he damaged it sound bloke

All mot's will BE the same price soon as soon as they all go live on the computerised system....No ones at £25 etc anymore, will be fixed price.

I can't say that will be true.

Surely there will some some garages that undercut others.....they will probably find more wrong and recoup their losses....but hey ho

£35 for mine, and it passed with just an advisory about emissions (was close to the limit on idling, but still under).

MOT price will be set to an industry standard...can't say about garages finding more wrong with car though...

MOT price will be set to an industry standard...can't say about garages finding more wrong with car though...


they have always had a suggested price which was about 45 quid, but most did not stick to it as it was stupidly high

wahey managed to fix the problem and my car sailed through. sodt me £34 for the test

only thing that was flagged up that my richard burns sticker was placed in zone 'b' on my winscreen and had to be removed before it passed

offending sticker...
