Has anyone on here ever been?

Thinking about going in September time, and wondered if there is anything to look out for places to visit ect

excellent place, went last year end of july and loved it! only thing is that it was 55 degrees we stayed in port el kantoui, didnt leave thet hotel, had no reason to except once when we went camel riding. everyone over there is really friedly and everything is cheap!

think thats where we're going, what hotel did you stay in?

Stopped in the port for a morning a few years ago on a cruise...... got took of boat and to a hotel (hotel was really nice)..... everywhere other than hotel was a shithole........... beach had a refugee camp on it and some twat trying to make everyone ride his camel at gunpoint........but you propbably wont be any where near there

It was 40 degrees at midnight when I went. I was not impressed I only like cold places.

One point of interest is that it is a closed economy and it is illegal to take their currency out of Tunisia and illegal to take unauthorised pictures of the national flag

hotel i stayed in had EVERYTHING! three pools, 4 bars, 3 restaurants, shop etc, hence why we didnt need to leave! we had no problem with the money, sorted it all in the hotel! customs, usual really, males to cover legs etc when havign meals, dont let a lass walk off by herself, usual

i just came back from tunisia on thursday, stayed at hammamet in a Riu Hotel was a real nice hotel, as lynny said i also changed my money in the hotel.

my m8 just come back from tunisia, he said it was 46c or 122F, a bit to hot for me
