What a day!! Dont know how loo_goblin can diss it. Never seen such a vast array of rare and priceless cars in the same place, accompanied by so many famous drivers.
Highlights for me were seeing the veyron, although it disapointed on the track, couldnt even hear it, the guy was hardly ragging it! The rally stage was awesome, got real close to alot amazing cars including delta s4, 037, maxi 5 turbo, 6r4s etc. Being able to see Marcus Gronholm flying like fuck round a rally course in a focus wrc car, then go on to see Denny Hulme driving the 1966 le mans winning GT40 in the same day says it all.
Being within touching distance of Rene Arnoux was just Was too scared to say anything though
Got looooads of pics, will upload them tomorrow when I get time.
Also spotted a certain corsa in the car park, only VegasPhil! Hope you had a good time mate, gutted you werent around at the time. Your car is looking lush though, much better than I imagined in pics.

did you see gronholm go up the hill in his WRC car... (not on rally stage)
I honestly thought he was gonna crash by the wall! and just drifted it round!
Was fairly good except the weather, my problem was I didn't know what to do first or what to look at first and at the same time didn't want to miss anything decent going up the hill.
A few of the drivers could've done with bigger balls, but the problem is the historic cars are un-replaceable and a lot of the drivers are the owners (i.e. rich cunts) ... Though the real racing drivers in their racing cars fucking flew up the hill

I saw it on the screen as I was walking back down from the rally stage. Only thing I didnt like was the fact there was no way you fit everything in, there was just too much to do and see. I missed so much I was looking forward to. See the pros on the rally course was awesome, they have so much balls, it wasnt just about seeing the cars but it was clear to see how talented those drivers are.

I looked out for you too. Fuck knows how you saw my car. Thanks for the feedback
I can safely say that Goodwood was the BEST day i've had in a very long time. Loved it and was gutted when I had to go home!
It took me and Lee 2.5 Hours to walk the whole length of goodwood from the top to bottom. Look out for my pics soon

paddocks too busy, only took 100 odd photos for that fact people just kept walking in way.
service in my enclosure was crap
i am not all doom and gloom, the track action was good, good range of cars this year even tho alot didnt run, was trying to get my dads mate to take me out up the hill with him in his 1910 lancia no luck there
was impressed by alot of the driving, nigel mansell stacked the John player special into the hay bails today
oh if u saw me i was that prick in a suit, easy to spot as iwas one of few lol
bring on revival best day of the year by far, love reivival.
XJ220 Transit was awesome, and the god save the queen revving on the renault F1

Ive been to both the revival and festival of speed and have to say i prefered that for the fact there was a larger range of cars and more to see. You have to bare in mind today was only practise day so not all the cars will have run.
Heard about Nigel Mansell, what a pillock, never liked him. He slowed down and was revving that champ car thing infront of us on the hill up to the rally stage on his way back down and he stalled
We also saw an austin healey stack it on the rally stage and ari vatanens mk2 rothmans escort took some damage when its back end hit a bank. The driver was fucking nuts though he had the tail all over the shop.
The wacky races cars were so It felt like seeing my child hood heroes even though i know they werent real haha.
I have sooo many pics, will upload a couple now for a taster.

Was walking back and I spotted it from miiiles away, like just on the horizon, i had to run off to get a pic then got lost of the way back. I think the 6x9s in the back let it down. Looks really nice though, looks like it needs an xe
