Just wondering if I can use the original bolts for my softstars, or will i have to get different ones with a different pitch ?? Also does anyone have any idea how much proper vauxhall locking nuts are ??

Get McGaurd locking nuts. You need alloy wheel nuts for alloys They should come with the wheels depending on who you are buying them off, it's a good idea to check when you order.

well i thought that as they were irmscher alloys, they might still retain the original vaux bolts ?? It would prob be easier to get mcgard lockers anyway, cos vaux parts will close early 2morrow...

I've had my McGaurd's for about 3 or 4 years now, never had an issue with them. Thats my reason for recomending them... I know friends who have had them for longer than me too. However, up to you

but the people I went to get my tyrs fitted got the nuts tightened too much, and the center section in the nut key broke..

Oh, ah, that is one thinkg I'm quite worried about - the key bit does look a little bit flimsy, especially when everywhere is so obsessed with thier air guns

that's it...the air guns cause the damage
I realised that only after a month when I was going to take wheel off...Had to smash the nuts. The guys did it for free, but well, had to buy a new set of locking nuts
edit: i didnt have the McGard key number lost it

I'm using standard Vaux nuts with my Softstars. All the new Vauxhalls that come with alloys come with standard bolts.
Also i'd recommend Vauxhall locking wheel nuts, they are miles better than mcgaurd, my pals mcgaurd ones rounded off in no time. That was using a bar to loosen them with, not a gun. My Vauxhall ones are still holding strong, they are fucking tough.
