Well, if you're up for the hassle of carrying around hundreds of Euros just to save a few quid it's the Post Office you want to change your money with. I still recomend either a credit or debit card.

Whenever I travel I take a credit and debit card. Use the debit card but keep the credit card in a save place in case of an emergancy or I loose the debit card

Go apply for one, always handy in case of emergencies and also building up your credit score/rating
Just down be a retard with it and spend money you don't have.
http://www.creditcardexpert.co.uk/ - may help you can't hurt to go to your existing bank though and explain the fact you'd like one .etc and they can sort you out
I did this with nationwide and they gave me a good deal!

You don't take it out on the piss you just have it there to withdraw money then u take that out... always leave the card back at your hotel in a secure place
How often have you heard of machines swallowing cards? You're just as fucked as you were in england and if that is the case always go in the bank to withdraw?

my best mates mates got their safe robbed years ago in ibiza, so i've always been a bit sceptical. I'f i'm taking loads i usually get travellers cheques just to be on the safe side, usually hotels cash them so its not much hassle.

I stash mine in a trainer in a suit case then pad lock it, can tell then if its been tampered with.
