its not just the engine depends on what type could be a 1.4 sport against some sort of 1.4 8v grans car 106 gotta give the cars type as well mate

Corsa, on paper anyway. 1.4 8v pug is 75bhp.

100bhp vs 82bhp

even the 16v corsa wouldnt keep up, its less powerful and weighs shitloads more

well compare a 1.6 corsa and a 1.6 106... the 106 is faster is it not?... definately is on the twisties, not 100% about in a straight line

yeah, wether it be a GTi or a Rallye, the 106 1.6 would be quicker.

i dare say the 1.6 XSi is quicker than a 1.6 sport, the sport only has 4bhp more, and weighs loads more

Ya batty, my Quiky was 1.4 8v with 75bhp anyway.
