I know this is posted all the time but I have tried the search function and I couldnt find the answer I was looking for....
1.2 8v 1993 corsa LS ....
Anyone got a guide for cleaning the ICV? I have a haynes manual here so you can refer me to pages in that.
is it called the idle speed control monitor in haynes manual?
Basicly I just need to clean it but wanted to read through what I need to do first
Many thanks

Should be in HZ really mate but...
You can just see the ICV to the right of the red pipe where it crosses the oil breather pipe.
It's a little cube thing secured in with two torx screws, undo these and it'll just pull out of the throttle body.
Some people say give it a clean, then oil it and gently slide the tip that sticks out into the TB back into the casing. Others say don't as it can damage the sensor. I did push it back, and once the engine started, revved high for a few seconds then found perfect idle ad has been fine ever since.

Isn't the ICV Part 19 flash? 21 is the screw...
Supposedly you should replace the rubber o-ring gasket (part 20) if you remove the ICV.
