I'm not a girl, but my feeling is that a lot of girls would be a bit put off by someone being so 'nice' on only a 2nd date. I have a mate like this and his longest ever relationship has been around 3 weeks!
Maybe just get away with it, if it was a special occasion like b.day, xmas of valentines, but not just for a date, esp. 2nd!
Nice meal, and good conversation will have her wanting more..

if you were taking me out on a date i wouldn't want anything too soppy like a teddy or anything like that, u dont even have to get her anything alot of girls like men not soppy ones! Im not being horrible but u will find that if u keep buying them stuff and being so nice theyl either walk all over u like a door mat or they won't like it and end it!! U can be nice without buying thngs!
