Some theiving little fag tried to break into my car last night at about 2am They managed to bend the passenger door at the top and pull the pin up to unlock it, but this set the alarm off, so my GF rushed over to the window to see what was going on and they legged it. Managed to bend the door back for now but will be looking round the scrappers/classifieds/ebay as there is now a huge crease at the bottom of the B pillar part of the door

Luckily my alarm went off before they got anything

Me too - probably best they got away cos it'd me facing charges. My GF said he wasnt wearing gloves so the police are coming round later today to get prints off it.

The strange thing is they bent the passenger side but when my GF looked out the window he was messing about on the drivers side

Autoline salvage in Froghall should have corsa's in - they normally do - and they're reliable/cheap

You not got central locking (deadlocking) on your car?

Thanks for that Lee but i think LTR in burslem might have one in the same colour as mine - they had an SRI in last time I went down there so i check it out 2moro.

...and sam, it doesnt have CL or deadlocking unfortunately but thats something i might look into for the future - Been looking at a CL kit from maplins but replacing the door is my main concern atm because im guessing that being bent will have weakened it as its creased inside and out

Yes but when your driving the passenger side is nearest to the curb, hence the term nearside. Not to do with parking.
