it dosent look to high to me mate, i ve got a few pictures of when i fitted one to our nova...

in this picture you can se it looks like it sits high but once its bolted in properly its fine!

why dont you mount the gearbox side properly dont foget you havent got any wings yet so it looks alot higher than what it actually is!

and one of how my let sits in the corsa

i dont think it would be the kit as they ve been sold thousands of times and i ve never heard of them being wrong!

just a question how has he done the gearbox mounting has he used the spacers or ground the lug off the box????? as each way will cause the engine to sit slightly different!

wanted the mtech kit mate. imo its the best way to do it. just dont get it. he says its to high. has his mount in now and he is happy with it. when i get it back im gonna try the mtech mount in again to see wots happening just to enlighten me some more. i asume the engine has to be level so if jamseys mount is level then the mtech kit mouint must be up in the air so ill see exactly. not annoying. jamsesy mounts are good enuff just its pickling my head...

u know james???

You can't extend HT leads, however, you can buy HT lead and crimp on HT connectors. However, you will have to see if you can get connectors that will fit the engine as the head is deep.

You could put the coil under the batt tray, that will hide it nicely.

that could be a very good idea ed. had nt thought of that. cheers mate.. only other option would be extend the lead from the dizzy to the coil as it is wot is keeping me from going the distance to the scuttle altho ur idea sounds alot easier. thanks again...

another note to users. i would not recommend a janspeed manifold. had to spent around an hour today shaving it to fit around the thermostat housing.. also got my mtech mounts fitted last nite. reason he couldnt get them to fit was cause the powercap was on the engine. least its mounted properly now. mtech mounts in my opinion are the most manufactured looking...

M Tech have been doing mounts for years and look like fantastic bits of kit, especially in comparison to my botched Cossvaux one.

Where did you get that bit of pipe that joins the air box to the airflow meter? Is that just a standard Corsa Airbox as I have got a GSi one knocking around.

got that in my local motorsport n spares place. called motorsportnspares. was 12quid. mocal is the brand name. yeah standard airbox. they r all the same size neway.. plus it means in my opinion it looks better as it more factroy looking and u can hide the magic eye wire and the thermo wires in below the filter running thru the box...
