He only said he was interested. The indicates that he woould look into seeing if he could buy the parts. He has found out he is too far away so has now told you. That's hardly time wasting now is it?

it happens all the time twiggy, just dont take people on until they are knocking on your door with a bundle of cash... thats the best way

yep, i had loads of time wasters when selling my corsa. Just dont take things what they say too seriously until they are knocking at ur door with cash.
i wasted so many days and hours from people saying they will come see my car etc etc.
