How long do they usually take? Are they normaly with you within the first week etc? And if it's after 14 days you CAN'T be prosecuted right?

Do they normally come before then? I went past a speed van doing around 60mph in a 50mph limit. But by the time I was level with it, it was too late!

But I'm beginning to believe I got lucky some how and they didn't get me

They are usually quite quick....got mine through from a van in days.

he might have been taking a break, having a fag, on the phone etc...they are manually operated are they not by the operator inside the van.

i dunno about the 14 day thing though thought they had longer to send you it TBH...maybe wrong.

If your driving your own car they have 14 days to send a NIP out. If your not the registered owner of the vehicle then they don't have to keep to the 14 day rule as long as the first NIP was sent out within the 14 day timescale.
