Best thing is 2 go 2 your doctors, they can put you in touch with help groups, ways to quit, and prescriptions for nicorette and things like that.

I got some patches on persciption but they seem to work up until i go out drinking then i rip them off!

ive quit for a good while now, not interested in it anymore and am amazed at the extra cash i have now

could be the reason they aint working!!!
i used patches to give.... its been nearly 7 months now
stick to using the patches and before you know it its 2 weeks... a month...etc....
now i dont even think about having a dirty fag

I quit in november after 14 years!
Found out the missus was pregnant and didn't want to be smoking round my baby.
I didn't bother with patches just avoided the pub for a week or so and I was fine then. I found it was more habit than anything

I also want to quit.
My main problem is that it's something to do at work. i.e. It break up the day. Couple in the morning, couple in the afternoon
What else would I do when I get bored at my desk

My Dad smoked from 14-46, he found it hard but on the 3rd attempt at quitting he managed it been stopped 14 months now

if your going to do it then just stop right now, dont do any of that cutting down crap. thats what people do to buy time and make people think they are giving up smoking.

I no but i don't enjoy it i hate it! I hate the smell everything about it i hate don't no why i do it but i smoke more when im bored or at work and if im trying to quit the one i miss most is the first fag in the morning on my way to work! N my jobs stressful so i smoke alot at work!
